Welcome to the official PlatinumPvP Server Guide! This guide will outline the key features of the server and how to use them. If you're looking for something in specific, then search the page with "ctrl + f".


General Information:

Spawn Protection
The spawn has a 250 block radius protection, if you want to be able to build, then follow one of the 4 paths available to the end and make sure it says wilderness.

Earning Member Rank
To earn Member rank, simply play on the server for 6 hours, you can track your playtime by typing "/playtime". Once you're Member you may apply for staff on our server.

Voting
You can earn $1000 of ingame money by voting on a daily basis, to vote either type "/vote" ingame or vote from this website

Server Rules:

1) No spamming, advertising or racism.
2) No foreign languages in main chat, English only.
3) No begging for items, op, creative or staff positions.
4) No hacking, exploiting or glitching and no combat logging.
5) No bypassing chat filters and no trolling.
6) Respect players and all server staff.

If you disobey any of our server rules you will be punished.


Factions:

Faction General
The main plugin fueling PlatinumPvP is Factions. This plugin allows you to team up with your friends (or solo if you wish) and a create a Faction. Once you have created a Faction you can claim land and build yourself an empire, or a state-of-the-art dirt hut if that's what you prefer! If you own the land, players from other factions will not be able to build/destroy there unless if they claim over it (this is only possible if your faction's overall power is below the amount of chunks claimed, so try not to die and maintain a good 2:1 power to chunk ratio). Faction Ranks
Admin - An Admin is the owner of the Faction. He/she will have access to all Faction commands.
Mod - A Mod is second in command. He/she has the ability to claim, unclaim, invite, kick and set relationships.
Member - A Member is the default rank new people will receive when they join your Faction.

Faction Commands
"/f create " - You can create your own Faction by using this command, make sure you replace with the desired name of your faction.
"/f claim" - With this command you can claim a chunk (16x16 block area) from bedrock to the sky limit.
"/f sethome" - You can use this command to set a public home point for your Faction on the block you're standing on.
"/f home" - With this command, if set you can return to your home point.
"/f mod " - Use this command to promote the given person's username to a Faction mod.
"/f {ally/neutral/enemy} " - Will set the given relationship to the specified Faction.


mcMMO:

mcMMO General
Another core plugin on PlatinumPvP which we all value is mcMMO. This plugin adds an RPG like experience to the server and adds features such as trainable skills, parties and special abilities. The strength of your abilities depends on how high your skill level is in each particular skill. The party system allows you to team up with other people and share exp and drops when training. mcMMO Commands
"/mcstats" - Shows you your current exp/stats.
"/mctop " [pagenumber] - Shows the leaderboards for the specified skill.
"/inspect " - Shows the stats of the player specified.
"/" - Shows detailed information about the specified skill.

Excavation
Leveled by: Digging dirt/gravel/sand with a shovel.
Benefits: Higher levels allow you to gain treasures whilst excavating such as gunpowder, ingots and potion ingredients.

Fishing
Leveled by: Fishing!
Benefits: Higher levels allow you to gain treasures whilst fishing such as enchanted armour and weapons.

Herbalism
Leveled by: Gathering crops.
Benefits: The higher your herbalism level the higher the chance of getting double the amount when geathering crops.

Mining
Leveled by: Mining stone/ores with a pickaxe.
Benefits: The higher your mining level the higher the chance of getting double drops. It also increases the length of super breaker.

Woodcutting
Leveled by: Chopping down trees with an axe.
Benefits: The higher your woodcutting level the higher the chance of getting double drops. It also increases the length of tree feller.

Axes
Leveled by: Hitting mobs / players with an axe.
Benefits: Increased damage from axes. Increased chance of critical hits. Higher damage to armour.

Swords
Leveled by: Hitting mobs / players with a sword.
Benefits: Increased chance of counter attacking.

Archery
Leveled by: Shooting mobs / players with a bow and arrow.
Benefits: Increased damage. Increased chance of dazing other player.

Taming
Leveled by: Taming wolves.
Benefits: Smarter wolves. Extra health & damage.

Acrobatics
Leveled by: Taking fall damage.
Benefits: Increased chance to dodge attacks (when sponsor or above). Take less damage from falling.

Repair / Salvage
Leveled by: Repairing items on emerald blocks or salvaging items on gold blocks.
Benefits: Higher chances to keep enchantments and restore more durability.
